Access Date: 2010-06-30

Summary
This movie show what kinds of foods served at schools around the world. As school meals, each country provides one’s own traditional foods. For instance, in Japan the lunch is traditional foods in bento-box, in Korea lunch is similar to Japanese but it has Korean traditional salted vegetables and in India curry and rice are served. In France the meals have American French fry and enough flutes. It is so different from American common school meal JUNK FOOD. Through looking at stuffs of lunch, there are lots of notices of food culture of the each country.

My Opinion
Now almost of all school in Japan provide lunch with rice and another with bread from day to day. Rice is an essential stuff of Japanese meal so the school lunch should never lack this traditional food. Shoku-iku is a Japanese word which means an education to learn the traditionalism of food and having good meals with thanks for food and understanding of food. School lunch is a good tool for students to learn their traditional stuffs and meal.
